Sand sculptors, coming from all over the world, create on Cervia’s free beach wonderful masterpieces

Professional sand sculpting is fun for all – artists and visitors alike. 
People who get to see the amazing and captivating works of art in this, the seemingly most ephemeral of all sculpture mediums, are always surprised of the sheer hugeness of the artefacts which are – nevertheless - extremely delicate.
The first three days you can watch how the artists create their masterpiece – most astounding how they turn a sand hill into a marvellous sculpture.  Afterwards, the artefacts remain in the open-air museum till the end of August - they are conserved by a thin layer of a mixture of water and glue.
The entry is free and it is definitely a great occasion to come together to have a good time!
